Research team member

Sandra Marinho is a researcher at Centro de Estudos de Comunicação e Sociedade (CECS), at University of Minho, and a teacher in the Communication Sciences Department at the same university. Has a PhD in Communication Sciences, with a thesis on the subject of changes in journalism education in the digital environment (available at: http://repositorium.sdum.uminho.pt/handle/1822/19819).

Her main research topics are: journalism education; quality of journalism; data journalism; and health journalism. She teaches mainly on the subject of Research Methods for the Social Sciences and also Journalism courses.

Her master thesis is about informal communication networks in R&D organizations (available at: http://repositorium.sdum.uminho.pt/handle/1822/3292) and she has a degree in Social Communication, at University of Minho.
