New weekly newspaper Ponto Norte

logo_v0011Ponto Norte is the name of a new weekly newspaper, with 32 pages ant the price of one euro it is envisaged that each issue has at least 20,000 copies.

The newspaper is available in full color and stapled and givse attention to content as long reports and great interviews, with opinion pieces in society, economy, culture and sports sections.

Event Point is no longer sold in newssatands

Event_point_logoEvent Point magazine, dedicated to the events industry, will leave the newsstands and will be sold by subscription only. Among the reasons for this decision, it was pointed out, in a press release, “distribution costs, the difficulty of working as a specialized magazine  in retail outlets and some waste as a result of handling during transport and storage of the magazine.” The publication provides, however, that this “reset strategy does not compromise the number of copies per issue, which remains in 3500.”

C magazine and website suspend publication

537692_507172599329718_1566315679_nThe administration of C magazine announced the suspension of the weekly publication and its news portal, citing economic difficulties.

According to António Abrantes, president of the board of Beirastexto – the owner of the magazine and website – the dual suspension is temporary “due to the current economic climate” in the country and the media sector.

“The suspension of the title starts in January 2013 and will resume when the general economic climate prove compatible with investments in media,” says the leadership marketing in a statement.

C magazine had a circulation of 10,000 copies weekly, according to the data sheet.
