The regional newspaper ended this Tuesday its publication. It had regular editions since 1943.
A Voz de Trás-os-Montes, based in Vila Real, had an average circulation of 6 thousand copies and had its end in the same day that journalists and other workers received the letters of dismissal. According to Lusa, the document refers that the decision arises from the crisis suffered in the regional press, which was aggravated after a compensation to be paid to a former worker, whom won a lawsuit.
