Stanislaw Jedrzejewski is graduated by the Institute of Sociology at University of Warsaw and also has an MBA at Kozminski University. In the past years, Stanislaw has been teaching in the area of Media and Social Communications at the Kozminski University and the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and is currently a senior researcher at the Communication and Society Research Centre, placed at the University of Minho, in Braga.
From 1995-2007, he was member and vice-chairman of the European Broadcasters Union Radio Committee and, almost in the same period of his career, member of the Board of the radio public broadcaster “Polish Radio” (1994-98). Moreover, he was the Programming Director of the Polish Public Radio in the period from 1990 to 93 and, more recently, from 1998 to 99. Stanislaw is a former Polish Public Radio 1 Controller (2003-2005). But his relation to the broadcasting sector has not been exhausted since he was member of the National Broadcasting Council in 2005 and is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Polish Radio.
Stanislaw Jedrzejewski is engaged with several media associations at an international level. He is member of the International Radio Research Network and vice-Chair of the ECREA (European Communication Research and Education Association) Radio Research Section. Being author of numerous studies, articles and reports on radio, he is also member of the Editorial Board of the Radio Journal, of the International Studies in Broadcast and Audio Media, and Central European Journal of Communication.
