Sérgio Denicoli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences at the University of Minho.
He graduated in Journalism and Advertising, in Brazil. Living in Portugal since 2004, he completed a Masters in Journalism and Information (University of Minho) and now he is finalizing his PhD in Communication Sciences (University of Minho). His line of researching is embedded in the Political Economy of Media field and includes the digital TV and the digital dividend.
During 10 years he was a journalist of Rede Globo, where he worked on Radio CBN (Brazilian Central News) and TV Globo/ES.
