The JP Sá Couto company confirmed to the newspaper Público, the existence of 20 thousand Magalhães computers yet to distribute to primary schools.
The company administrator, Jorge Sá Couto, revealed to the newspaper, that were distributed 230 thousand of 250 thousand computers, untill now, resulting from the public tender, back in 2010.
Contacted by the newspaper, Jorge Sá Couto believes it is too early to think about the distribution as “it is not known the number of children who will attend the first year”.
Recall that the government is still evaluating whether to continue with the program of distribution of Magalhães computers in Portuguese primary schools.
