The Portuguese government signed, on Friday, an agreement with the Bolivian government for the spread of ICT in schools. According to the newspaper Público, the agreement signed in La Paz was attended by the governing bodies of both countries, including the President of Bolivia, Evo Morales and the Portuguese Secretary of State for Public Works and Communications, Paulo Campos.
Besides predicting the distribution of Magalhães computers in Bolivian primary schools, the agreement also foresees the construction of a factory for assembling computers in Bolivia.
