Elementary students involved in technological mega event

The second meeting of technology (II Encontro tecnológico), organized by the autarchy of Barcelos, predicts the participation of more than three thousand 1st cycle students accompanied by Magalhães computers. Francisco José Viegas criticizes use of computers in schools

JP Sá Couto receives incentives after tax fraud

According to Agência Financeira, the company that produces Magalhães computers received "tax incentives relative to the year 2009, when the company was a defendant in a case of tax fraud, according to a list published by the Ministry of Finance". Portugal and Bolivia signed an agreement for the spread of ICT

The Portuguese government signed, on Friday, an agreement with the Bolivian government for the spread of ICT in schools.
