Approved in the Official News Bulletin, the financial contract between the Government and JP Sá Couto provided the payment of 10.9 million euros from the Portuguese Agency for Investment and External Commerce (AICEP) to the company that makes Magalhães computers, according to the online edition of Correio da Manhã.

In the blog post 100 Reféns, Tiago Mesquita, criticized the memorandum of understanding between JP Sá Couto and a Libyan state company, for the supply of Magalhães computers, while the African country is in political instability: "I think the Portuguese Government and the company should announce now that as soon as Libya is restored as a country and get rid of the charismatic leader, these pre-negotiated computers will be delivered for free to Libyan children."

According to the information available at Portal das Escolas, the ICT Competency Center, School of Education of Santarém (CCTICESES), will hold on April 6, a workshop to promote and foster the use of computers in classrooms.
The workshop, titled "My class", is mainly for"teachers of the 1st cycle of studies of basic education that wish to streamline activities with their students using Magalhães", says in the website.
