In education, Carlos Patrão, from Bloco de Esquerda, defends the implementation of ICT in schools, but suggests that this “should be done through laboratories in schools and not with toys”, referring to the Magalhães laptop.
For Francisco Madeira Lopes, from “Os Verdes”, the problem is the inequality of the access to technology, the “low literacy” and “lack of mediation between teachers and students”, emphasizing the need for “ICT training, especially in the municipalities and the interoperationalization.
