Esta página destina-se a ser um portal de divulgação e uma plataforma de discussão científica do projeto O fluxo, a morte e o acontecimento mediático: linguagens, interações e imaginário, a decorrer desde 2012 na Universidade do Minho e na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Este projeto, com financiamento da FCT e da CAPES, dedica-se à análise de figurações da morte nos média e nas artes visuais. O objetivo deste site é registrar e apresentar ao público  publicações, eventos e outras atividades resultantes dos esforços das equipas portuguesa e brasileira que constituem o projeto. Além disso, é nosso intuito promover a publicação participativa por parte dos membros do projeto e outros especialistas no domínio das ciências sociais, de modo a dinamizar o debate em torno das representações da morte que circulam no quotidiano através dos jornais, da televisão, da Internet, da fotografia, da publicidade, da moda e das artes.

This page is meant to be a portal of dissemination and a platform for scientific discussion of the project Flow, death and the media event: languages, interactions and imaginary, taking place since 2012 at the University of Minho and the Federal University of Minas Gerais. This project, funded by FCT and CAPES, is dedicated to the analysis of figurations of death in the media and cultural industries. The purpose of this site is to register and present to the public publications, events and other activities resulting from the efforts of the Portuguese and Brazilian teams that make up the project. In addition, it is our aim to promote participatory publication by the project members and other experts in the field of social sciences, in order to foster discussion around the representations of death that circulate in everyday life through newspapers, television, Internet , photography, advertising and fashion.
